Our cheeses, cured meats and dairy come from producers in Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus and across Europe. They arrive at our warehouse in Barking, East London, and go on, chilled and fresh, to shops, restaurants and kitchens all over the UK.

Melis is part of the Gima (UK) Ltd family in Barking, East London, alongside Bodrum and Sultanim. We bring the cheeses, cured meats and dairy that families grew up with to shops and kitchens across the UK.

Breakfast is our favourite meal
A proper breakfast table is a little bit of everything: white cheese and olives, a slice of kashkaval, sucuk sizzling in the pan with eggs, warm bread and a pot of tea. Our range is built around that table, and around the people who gather at it.

Sucuk spiced with garlic, pastirma, brined white cheese, thick tava-style yoghurt and lightly salted ayran. These are recipes people know by heart, and we want every pack to taste just as you remember.
